But now, he may fall in a legal trouble as the real producer of Haseena Parkar's biopic Sameer Antulay, who reportedly also belongs to the Dwaood Ibrahim's family, has revealed that Zubair is faking his identity and has no connection with the clan.

Speaking about the same, he told a leading daily that, "Zubair Khan is a fraud. He has no connections with our family. He is misusing the Dawood title for publicity. We will be approaching the cops to register an FIR against him.”
Sameer also quashed Zubair's claims of being married to Haseena's daughter. He reveals that Haseena Parker has 2 daughters - Qudsia and Humeira of whom Qudsia (whom Zubair claimed to be his wife) is married to a businessman named Zaheer Shaikh.
Speaking further on behalf of his sisters, Sameer further told Mid-Day that, "These rumours need to end as my sisters are facing a lot of problems.”

Sameer has also claimed that Zubair did approach Haseena Parker herself to make a biopic but Haseena had refused.
Speaking about Zubair calling him a kin from Haseena Parkar's family, a source further told India.com that, "He has been going around the area of Nagpada, Mumbai declaring himself, ‘Company ka damaad hoon’, (D-Company or Dawood Company is an organized criminal group controlled by Dawood Ibrahim) to gain popularity and create a fear amongst locals so that no one messes with him.”
If all this turns out to be true then, Zubair seems to be using Haseena Parkar's name only to remain in the limelight on the reality show!
