Priyank, who knew Vikas Gupta from before also developed a strong bond with Hina khan in the show and he was often seen getting caught between the two when he had to choose one over the other.
Salman Khan on Sunday, the following day after Priyank's eviction had teased Vikas and other housemates by saying that "jab se ghar se baahar gaya hai Priyank aur jo usne sabko gaaliyan baki hain.. pehle to Vikas ki thoki hai sabse pehle..".
But the fact is that Priyank played very diplomatic while answering each and every question media asked him. He did not say anything offensive about his co-contestants[BB11: Evicted contestant Priyank Sharma reacts on Benafsha’s “brother” comment!] but there was a point when he had to choose one out of Hina and Vikas in terms of genuineness.
"Who's your genuine friend?" he was asked.
His response to this question was -
"It's a very good question! So if i talk about the genuineness, i think Vikas ko main already baahar bhi jaanta hun. He has been there and he has been helping me throughout the journey, also with advices.. but inside the show..we are competing.. we are brothers.. we are good friends but we are competing so.. ladaai-jhagdaa to yaar hoga.. hona bhi chahiye.........."
Trying again to dodge the question he first explained the fights he had with his real-life buddy Vikas saying the game demanded it and then went on to rate him over Hina saying...
"...par Hina ko maine ghar mei jaana hai.. I don't know her right now because that transition has to happen.. because the reality is different the show is different, now the real life is different..right? So i'm just waiting for that transition that leap to happen so that's why i give one plus point to my friendship with Vikas over Hina because i know both the phases of Vikas inside and outside of the show.. "
With that approach we guess we understand why audience chose Luv Tyagi over Priyank Sharma and voted the latter out of the house. Not making a clear decision and always trying to sail in two boats was Priyank's biggest mistake.
When asked who his favorite is and the one he sees as the winner, Priyank again did not take sides and settled for his favorite top 3 instead.
Priyank said he sees Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta and Shilpa Shinde as the 3 finalists of Bigg Boss 11.
