Karan got nominated the first time in the fifth week of season 10 and was made to bid show goodbye in the double eviction alongside Lokesh Kumari Sharma. Karan's popularity however is making the TV star wonder how this happened.

“I don’t know how and why I’m out of the show, the channel would know better. But I have heard that the channel had made some changes this week, it was decided on the basis of both, votes and the content. I don’t think, it’s ever been done, not in this season definitely. So it’s very unfair. If that’s how they want to do the show, then I am more than happy to be out. For me what matters the most is that I left that house with my dignity intact. In fact, the audience, my army of fans is upset, they are wondering how come after voting for me in such large numbers, I’m out of the show. People loved the way I was playing the game,” Karan told Firstpost.

The celebrities have been underperforfming on the show since Week 1 and Salman has also been lashing out at them for making the show boring. Despite this, two commoners Priyanka and Navin are already made to leave based on audiences' voting.

The shows representative told Firspost over Karan's reaction on his eviction that “He must be trending on social media because of his popularity for last many years but we guess people were not voting for him simply because he wasn’t entertaining. He was neither taking any stand and nor was he great at tasks. Then how could he have lasted on the show? He must be feeling bad because he is the very first celebrity contestant to be shown the door.”

Karan's sudden eviction had also surprised everyone inside the BB 10 house but so did commoned Priyanka Jagga Muise's based on voting in the very first week of the show despite her full on entertainment she served the audience.
