New Delhi: TV actor Yogesh Tripathi, who is fondly known for his role of inspector Happu Singh in Shubhangi Atre Poorey and Saumya Tandon starrer ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’, has been bereaved. The actor’s father left for his heavenly abode on Thursday (September 26). He was reportedly keeping ill since a lot time. Yogesh shared a heartfelt post for his father along with pictures on social media.


‘’ apa ji aap hamesha yaad rahenge, ab aap jahan bhi rahein apna aashirwad banaye rakhiyega. Saddened to inform you all that I have lost my beloved father yesterday on 26th Sept. #TeamYogeshTripathi,’’ Yogesh Tripathi wrote on Instagram.

After the success of ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’, the makers and the channel introduced its spin-off ‘Happu Ki Ultan Pultan’, which focuses on the life of Happu Singh and his family. The comedy show, which is quite popular among the viewers, was launched on March 4, 2019.


On the professional front, Yogesh Tripathi made his TV debut with Kavita Kaushik’s ‘FIR’. He played several characters in the sitcom. The actor was also part of shows like 'Lapataganj' and 'Jijaji Chhat Per Hain'.
