Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring back her hit 'Colors' show 'Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki' on the same channel. Featuring Ssharad Malhotra and Kratika Sengar in lead roles, 'Kasam...' went off-air in July last year after a run of more than 2 years and the show's second season will soon hit the TV screens. As per reports, 'Naagin 3' fame Pearl V Puri and Ishita Dutta will be playing the leads in 'Kasam 2' titled 'Bepanah Pyaarr'. If the latest buzz is to be believed, TV actress Aparna Dixit has been roped in to play Pearl's wife in the upcoming show.

Aparna Dixit, who is best known for playing the lead role of 'Devika' in Ekta Kapoor's popular 'Life OK' show 'Kalash' opposite Krrip Kapur Suri, will reportedly play Pearl V Puri's first wife in 'Bepanah Pyaarr'.

TV actress battling depression due to failed relationship with 'Kasam' co-star!

Speaking about the same, a source told TOI that, "Though a cameo appearance, Aparna's role is extremely crucial to the storyline. She will play Bani, Pearl's first wife, who dies in an accident. Unlike what had taken place in the previous season, the second edition will be a love story with thriller elements. It is expected to launch in the third week of May."

The actress as well as makers are yet to react on the same.

The shooting for the new season of ‘Kasam’ will commence soon and the show is expected to hit the TV screens next month.

The much-awaited 'Colors' will reportedly replace Shashank Vyas and Donal Bisht starrer ‘Roop-Mard Ka Naya Swaroop’.

Coming back to Aparna Dixit, she made her TV debut as 'Ambika' in Star Plus' 'Mahabharat' and went on to feature in popular shows like 'Pavitra Rishta', 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi', 'Porus' among others and was last seen in an episode of 'Laal Ishq'.
