New Delhi: Colors TV’s ‘Barrister Babu’ has managed to keep the viewers on the edge of their TV seats with its drama-packed episodes. The social drama starring Pravisht Mishra and Aura Bhatnagar has received critical acclaim for its storyline and impeccable performances of the actors. Ardent fans of the show are eagerly waiting for the resumption of the shoot so that they can see their favourite characters on their TV screens.


Maharashtra government has given permission to resume shoot in the non-containment zones in the state but the makers have to follow several guidelines. The child artists under the age of 10 and actors above 65 won’t be allow to shoot on the sets, keeping their safety in mind.

‘Barrister Babu’ features child artist Aura in the lead role. As per the latest buzz, the makers of the show are planning to introduce a leap. They have reportedly approached a popular TV actress for the role of Bondita.



Casting calls being made and Devoleena Bhattacharjee has been approached to play grown-up Bondita in ‘Barrister Babu’, a report in SpotboyE said. The makers are looking for an actress, who has a Bengali touch and Devo seems to be fit the bill.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee shot to fame after playing the role of Gopi bahu in Star Plus’ ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’. She became a household name, all thanks to her performance as a docile and traditional daughter-in-law in the daily soap.

The Bengali beauty participated in Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 13’ last year’. She won several hearts during her stint in the popular reality show. Devoleena had to leave ‘BB 13’ halfway due to her injury. Her friendship with co-contestant Rashami Desai grabbed a lot of eyeballs.



Her fans would definitely be excited to see the talented actress back on the small screen.

Talking about ‘Barrister Babu’, the show focuses on the story of a Bondita, a child bride, who gets married to Anirudh Roy Choudhary. Anirudh fights against the society to provide her education and help her become a barrister.
