New Delhi: Actor and comedian Krushna Abhishek has reportedly confirmed the marriage of his sister, Arti Singh, a former contestant on 'Bigg Boss 13' and a prominent TV actress, to her boyfriend Dipak Chauhan.


The couple, who have been in a relationship for a year, is expected to tie the knot in either April or May.


Krushna On Arti's Wedding


Krushna's confirmation of this news, which has been making rounds in the media, occurred during the launch event of the 10th season of the show 'OMG! Yeh Mera India'. Notably, Krushna serves as the host of the program, which airs on History TV18.


As per media reports, Krushna affirmed that Arti and Dipak will indeed be getting married. However, there remains uncertainty regarding whether his estranged maternal uncle and renowned Bollywood actor Govinda will attend the ceremony.


 






Govinda To Receive First Invitation For Arti's Wedding


During a recent interview with ETimes, Krushna Abhishek opened up about his sister Arti's wedding. On being asked if their maternal uncle Govinda will be invited to the wedding, the comedian-actor said, "Arre sabse pehla invite unko hi jayega kya baat kar rahe ho....he's my mama...we have had a few disagreements that are separate issues, but the first wedding card will go to him, and he will definitely attend the wedding. It is Arti's wedding and he loves us immensely."


Last year, Krushna hinted on Instagram about his willingness to reconcile. Praising his uncle as an "inspiration," Krushna shared a video clip of Govinda's energetic dance performance on a chat show, captioning it with, "There can't be a better video than this. Stage on fire."


 






On the professional front, Krushna recently appeared as a guest on 'Bigg Boss 17'. He continues to portray the character of Sapna on 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.


Meanwhile, Arti has returned to acting after a hiatus of three years, during which she openly discussed her battle with depression due to a lack of work opportunities. She is currently portraying a negative character in Shemaroo Umang's 'Ummeed Ki Roshni Shravani'.
