New Delhi: Popular TV actress Ankita Lokhande is all set to tie the knot with Vicky Jain in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony on Tuesday (December 14). The couple will take nuptial vows in the presence of their family members and close friends. The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ star and her soon-to-be married are currently busy enjoying their pre-wedding festivities at a five-star hotel in Mumbai.
Ankita’s family hosted a haldi ceremony for her on Monday (December 13). The bride-to-be was beaming with joy as her family members and friends applied turmeric on her face. She danced her hearts out on different numbers at the pre-wedding function.
The Marathi mulgi looked resplendent in a red ethnic outfit, which she paired with earrings. She grooved to the beats of ‘Jhumka Bareily Wala’ and ‘Ghoomar during the fun-filled function.
Ankita, who looked elegant in a pink lehenga, posted photos from her sangeet on social media along with a cute caption. She wrote, "The love we share makes my mehndi looks so beautiful… so meaningful… so memorable."
Ankita suffered a leg injury while rehearsing for her sangeet ceremony. The doctors had advised her bed rest after discharging her from the hospital. Despite her injury, the actress performed with the guests and enjoyed every moment with her loved ones.
Vicky and Ankita are getting married after dating each other for over three years. Several TV celebs are expected to attend their grand wedding in Mumbai. On the professional front, Ankita was last seen in ZEE5's 'Pavitra Rishta: It's Never Too Late'.
Shaheer Sheikh replaced late Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav in the reboot version of 'Pavitra Rishta', which aired on a leading OTT platform.
