Mumbai: Television actor Aniruddh Dave has been battling COVID-19 for the last 36 days. The actor who plays the role of Shyam in ‘Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’, shared an update about his health on his social media.


Taking to his Twitter, Aniruddh shared a selfie where he can be seen in a hospital. While sharing the picture, he gave an update about his health which read, “And the battle is On this 36th day.oxygen is on.But ya On the road to recovery of lungs.Dr.goenka said dont talk much bt may do reply n can be in touch with loved ones,may watch films shows,new life,like a new born wl practice walking now,selfie toh banti hai #gratitude u all”.

Aniruddh Dave contracted COVID-19 while he was shooting for an upcoming web series in Bhopal. He immediately quarantined himself inside his home but after his condition started deteriorating, Dave was rushed to hospital. He was then moved to the ICU due to a lung infection.


Other than ‘Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’, Aniruddh Dave has starred in other shows including ‘Patiala Babes’, ‘Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki’, ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’ and others.


Aniruddh also featured in Bollywood movies including ‘Teree Sang’, ‘Shorgul’, ‘Pranaam’ and others. He will be next seen starring in Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie ‘Bell Bottom’ where Dave will portray the role of Captain Sameer Mehra.
