Ankita Lokhande Shares Happy PICS With Twin Nephew & Niece As They Turn Two Months Old

Amid ongoing war of words with Shibani Dandekar, Ankita Lokhande posted adorable photos with her nephew and niece on social media.

New Delhi: The untimely demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left his family, friends and fans emotional. Rhea Chakraborty, who is the prime accused in the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s death case, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau under various sections of the NDPS Act. Sushant’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande had shared a cryptic post on social media after Rhea’s arrest. The ‘Jalebi’ actress’ close friend Shibani Dandekar took an indirect dig at Ankita without taking her name on Instagram story.

Ankita Lokhande shared another post, clarifying her stance in the investigation of Sushant’s death case. She also addressed her ‘haters’ and indirectly asked why Rhea allowed Sushant to consume when she claimed to know about his ‘mental condition’.

Shibani Dandekar slammed Ankita on Instagram, calling her open letter ‘grotesque’. She referred the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress as the ‘Princess of patriarchy’ and said that she was doing this for her ‘two seconds of fame’. Her remark didn’t go down well with several TV celebs including Rashami Desai, Hina Khan, Karanvir Bohra and others. The small screen stars extended support to Ankita on social media.

Amid all the hullabaloo, Ankita has shared a happy picture with her twin nephew and niece Abeer and Abeera as they turned two-months old. The caption for the post read, “Dear Abeer and Abeera. happy 2months my cutipies.”

Ankita Lokhande, who is providing rock solid support to Sushant’s family, shared a long post while responding to Shibani’s remarks on her. She said that she is proud to be a television actor.

“When I am trying to support justice for my late friend, a view has been expressed that I am seeking JUSTICE because I need 2 seconds of fame and cheap publicity! I cannot fathom as to why any person would take such a stand,” the ‘Baaghi 3’ actress wrote.

“Stop looking down on we television actors, if that was your reason for describing my words as 'GROTESQUE',” Ankita added.

Meanwhile, a Mumbai Special NDPS Court has rejected the bail applications of Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty and four others, who were arrested by the NCB. The drug law enforcement agency is investigating allegations of drug abuse in the ‘Raabta’ actor’s death case.
