Ekta Kapoor's 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', featuring Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel in lead roles, is finally bidding goodbye to the viewers next month after a glorious run of six years.  'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' will be replaced by its spin-off titled 'Yeh Hai Chahatein', featuring Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi from December 19. Now latest buzz suggests that, another Star Plus show is now confirmed to go off-air in December after 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'.

Mythological show 'Namah', featuring Savi Thakur as Lord Vishnu, was under scanner since quite some time as reported earlier. However, 'Namah' producer has now confirmed that the show is indeed coming to an end on December 20.

Confirming the same, 'Namah' producer Ved Raj informed a leading daily that, "Yes, the show will end on December 20. Namah was actually slated to be a one-hour weekend show and it was written in that format. Then 12 days before the telecast, a decision was taken to make it a weekday show."

Speaking about the reason behind low TRPs of 'Namah', he further told TOI that, "I feel the early evening time slot did not work for the show. Though we tried to revamp, it did not help in garnering more eyeballs for the show. But, I am happy that we tried our best and made every effort to make it work. It was a big budget show, so we had to think well before bringing in newer plots. It was not a regular fiction show."

The loyal fans of 'Namah' are surely going to miss the show.

On a related note, 'Namah' went on-air in September and replaced Zain Imam-Shrenu Parikh's 'Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna' at the timer slot of 7pm. However, the show failed to made a mark on TRP charts since beginning and is going off-air after a run of only three months.
