Congratuations are in order for veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra's daughter and TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor. Nearly three years after her brother Tusshar Kapoor welcomed son Laksshay Kapoor via Surrogacy, sister Ekta Kapoor has gone the same way. Yes, you read that right! Ekta Kapoor, who has produced many hit shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' among others, is now a mother. According to latest reports, Ekta Kapoor has welcomed her first child, a baby boy, via Surrogacy.

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, "The 43-year-old has had a son via a surrogate; the child was born on January 27. The baby is healthy and will be home soon."

This is indeed a great news for the Kapoor family.

For the uninitiated, Ekta's younger brother and Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor too surprised everyone in 2016 when he opted for IVF and became single parent to Laksshya and inspired many. Seems like, sister Ekta Kapoor too got inspired and is now is a happy space.

On the professional front, Ekta Kapoor is one of the most successful producers in the country. After making many long-running & successful TV shows, Ekta went on to carve a niche for herself in Bollywood as well and has produced various path-breaking films like 'Udta Punjab', 'Veere Di Wedding', 'The Dirty Picture', 'Lootera', 'Ek Villain' among others. Her OTT platform ALTBalaji is doing wonders as well.
