ZEE TV's much-loved show 'Kumkum Bhagya', featuring Shabir Ahluwalia & Sriti Jha in the lead roles of 'Abhi' & 'Pragya', began in the year 2014 and is still a constant in the top 10 TRP list. Ekta Kapoor's popular show recently took a leap post most of the actor, excluding the lead pair, moved out of the show. TV actor Mishal Raheja, who played the role of 'King' in 'Kumkum Bhagya' too quit the show due to generation leap. His fans are now missing seeing him onscreen and here comes great news for them. As per the latest buzz, the talented actor has already bagged his next project.

Reportedly, Mishal Raheja has joined the cast of ALTBalaji's upcoming web-series 'Boss – Baap of Special Services' featuring Karan Singh Grover and Sagarika Ghatge in the lead role.

According to an entertainment portal, "Mishal was recently in Shimla shooting for the series. He will play an interesting role in the series produced by banner Filmy Paltan."

Speaking about the same, a source told IWMBuzz that, "Mishal will come in at the fag end on Season 1 and his character will be more predominant in the second season."

Mishal too confirmed being a part of 'Boss – Baap of Special Services' to the portal.

For the uninitiated, 'Boss – Baap of Special Services' is a mystery thriller that unravels the story of a con artist. Apart from Karan & Sagarika, the upcoming web-series also features Daljiiet Kaur, Kanica Maheshwari, Sonali Raut, Ayaz Khan, Mahesh Shetty, Gaurav Gera among others in important roles.

Coming back to Mishal Raheja, he played his first lead role in SAB TV show 'Love Story' produced by Anurag Basu. But he rose to fame as 'Dutta Bhau' in Colors show 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' opposite Mahhi Vij. Later, Mishal quit the show & was replaced as 'Dutta Bhau' by his 'Kumkum Bhagya' co-star Shabir Ahluwalia.
