Popular Punjabi actress-singer Sara Gurpal, who was seen in ‘Bigg Boss 14’, has tested positive for COVID-19. She shared a post on social media to inform her fans about the same. Gurpal requested the people, who came in contact with her, to undergo a Coronavirus test. The ‘Bigg Boss 2020’ contestant has isolated herself after contracting the virus.
“Just tested positive for #coronavirus. Taking care of myself ! #isolated I request you guys to take proper care and if you have met me recently than please get yourself checked,” her post read.

Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. Many celebs including Guru Randhawa, Roshni Walia dropped comments on the post and prayed for her speedy recovery.
Sara’s ‘Bigg Boss 14’ co-contestant Nishant Singh Malkani has also been diagnosed with COVID-19. He is currently observing home quarantine.
The ‘Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega’ actor shared a post on Instagram to provide a health update.
Several Bollywood celebs including Arjun Rampal, Neil Nitin Mukesh have tested positive for Coronavirus in recent times. The likes of Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt have recovered from the virus. Akshay Kumar, who was shooting for 'Ram Setu', was admitted to a hospital as a precautionary measure. He has returned home after receiving treatment at the hospital.
The makers of several shows have shifted base to different states to continue the shoot as Maharashtra government has banned shooting for all films, shows and ads in the state till May 1, 7am. The actor of shows like 'Kundali Bhagya', 'Kumkum Bhagya', 'Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin' and 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' are now shooting in Goa.
Many leading TV celebs including Karan V Grover, Shubhangi Atre have contracted the virus. Karan V Grover, last seen in 'Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum' opposite Dipika Kakar, has tested negative for COVID-19. He thanked the fans for their wishes in an Instagram post. The actor wrote, "Thank u all for the continuous love and affection , it made the quarantine bearable and most definitely reinforces enthusiasm."
