Last month 'Tu Aashiqui' lead actress Jannat Zubair's name got embroiled in a controversy when she refused to do an intimate scene with co-star Ritvik Arora. There were also talks of Jannat being replaced in the show due to the same. But at the end, the issue was solved & Jannat was retained in the show. Now actress Sweta Bhattacharya, who made her TV debut opposite Vishal Vashishtha in 'Star Bharat' show 'Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki', has said 'no' to perform an intimate scene.

Reportedly, Sweta refused to get close to her co-actor Vishal Vashishtha on screen, when a suhagraat scene was being planned. After which the makers of the show were left in a tight spot.

Speaking about the same, a source told a leading daily that, "Sweta has a clause in her contract that she won't do intimate scenes, and won't wear sleeveless and short clothes. Because of this, the suhagraat sequence had to be toned down considerably."

When Sweta was contacted to know about the same, she told Bombay Times that, "I am not comfortable wearing sleeveless clothes, as I don't think that they flatter my body. When it comes to short clothes, I had told the producers right in the beginning that I won't wear hot pants or anything too short. This is the remake of a Bengali show and we are sticking to the original script. There wasn't any intimate scene in the original show, so there is no need to shoot one for the Hindi version. I had told the makers that I won't be comfortable shooting intimate scenes or locking lips, which has become normal on TV nowadays. However, it's not up my alley."

Speaking about 'Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki', the show is the remake of popular Bengali serial 'Bhojo Gobindo' that airs on 'Star Jalsha' & Sweta is playing the role of protagonist 'Daali' in the show.
