New Delhi: Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad's marriage broke the internet on Thursday. Actor and activist Swara Bhaskar announced her marriage to Fahad in the most adorable manner possible with a video that reminisced how the two met and how their relationship bloomed. Swara shared an Instagram reel which showed how the two met at a protest and from their gradually sparks flew between the two.
Swara also shared the most adorable caption with her post which said, "Sometimes you search far and wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours!” "I never knew chaos can be so beautiful Thank you for holding my hand love."
Soon after, congratulatory messages began to pour in for Swara and Fahad. However, a section of Twitter users shared an old tweet of Swara where she addressed him as bhai. Swara's tweet read, “Happy birthday Fahad Miyan! May brother's confidence remain intact :) @FahadZirarAhmad Be happy, be settled.. You are getting old, get married now! Have a great birthday & a fantastic year friend!”
Reacting to the sarcastic post, a user wrote, “Many many congratulations 'brother' on your wedding.” “Bhai?” questioned another one. A user also added, “Bhai se hi shadi krli tumne”.
Swara and Fahad met in 2020 and have since then been together. Fahad is currently the President of Samajwadi Party's Yuvjan wing in Maharashtra. The couple recently hosted an intimate engagement party in Mumbai. It was attended by their close friends and family members only. Celebrities such as Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, designer Sandeep Khosla were also spotted.
Swara and Fahad registered their marriage on Friday in a Mumbai court under the Special Marriage Act. The two will get married in Delhi in March.
