New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen and former IPL chairman Lalit Modi, have taken the internet by storm, after the latter revealed on Wednesday, that they are dating each other. Lalit Modi took to his social media handle to share a couple of pictures from his recent trip to Maldives featuring Sushmita Sen, whom he referred to as his "better half."
Sharing some mushy pictures of himself with the former Miss Universe, he wrote, "Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families - not to mention my #better looking partner @sushmitasen47 a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon.. In love does not mean marriage YET. BUT ONE THAT For sure."

Lalit Modi had earlier referred to Sushmita as his "better half" but later called her as "my better looking partner" after people started confusing the actress as his wife, assuming that they had already got married.
He also shared another tweet wherein he mentioned, "Just for clarity. Not married - just dating each other. That too it will happen one day."
When Times Of India approached Sushmita's brother Rajeev Sen for his comment on the same, the actor said that he was "pleasantly surprised" about the new development in his sister's life, and that, he had no idea about it, earlier.
Rajeev said to TOI, "I am pleasantly surprised. I will speak to my sister before I say anything. I wasn't aware of it at all. My sister is yet to confirm this from her end, so I can't comment, as of now."
Sushmita Sen recently announced her break up with her boyfriend of three yeras, Rohman Shawl, in December, last year. The actress took to her Instagram to share a post whrein she mentioned that the duo will continue to remain friends.
On the work front, the actress was last seen in the power-packed thriller drama 'Aarya'.
