New Delhi: The second wave of COVID-19 has seen a sudden surge in the number of positive cases. The numbers are increasing in such a manner that hospitals are falling short of beds and oxygen cylinders. In this time of need, people including celebrities are doing their best to provide aids for the needy.
Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen also managed to arrange some oxygen cylinders for hospitals located in Delhi. She revealed in one of her tweets that though she has managed to arrange a few oxygen cylinders for the hospitals, she is not finding a way to transport them from Mumbai to Delhi.
Sushmita Sen tweeted, “This is deeply heart breaking...oxygen crisis is everywhere. I have managed to organise a few oxygen cylinders for this hospital but have no way to transport it to Delhi from Mumbai...please help me find a way”.
Well, there was one Twitter user who criticised her for sending oxygen cylinders from Mumbai to Delhi and questioned the actress as to why she is not arranging oxygen cylinders for hospitals in Mumbai.
Sushmita came back with a reply to the troll which will win your heart. She said, “Because mumbai still has oxygen cylinders available, that’s how I found it. Delhi needs it, especially these smaller hospitals, so help if you can.”
Meanwhile, speaking on the professional front, Sushmita Sen was last seen starring in the web series ‘Aarya’ where she portrayed the role of the protagonist. Her performance was loved by both the audience and the critics.
