New Delhi: One of the most famous and loved singers of this country, Arijit Singh, normally stays away from the limelight. But in this second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the singer who generally refrains from posting on social media shared a long note urging people to take care and stay home.


Arijit Singh took to his Facebook account and shared a note revealing that he has been praying to win this battle and requested other people to join him in praying.

The ‘Channa Mereya’ singer wrote, “I have been Been praying continuously with one focus in mind. We should win this battle. No more people should pass away like this. I am appealing to my beloved people to join me mentally through this prayer. You do not have to take out any extra time to do this. Just pray while you keep doing what you do. Let our consciousness become a collective one and let us be strengthened. May every life survive this.”


Arijit further requested everyone to understand the situation and hopes that everyone gets the deserved opportunity to be tested, oxygen, beds, injections, medicines and other medical emergency requirements.


He urged people to be home and not unnecessarily go out anywhere.



Arijit Sigh ended his note by saying, “Please lets depend on our own because we are on our own now. Guru Rabindranath thakur once said “Jodi tor daak shune keu na ase tobe akla chalo re” My love to you my elders, seniors, juniors, kids.”


Arijit Singh turned into a music composer for the film ‘Pagglait’ which starred Sanya Malhotra in the lead role.
