Ankita Lokhande, who was on a break from social media from last few days made a comeback on Instagram on Sunday, just a day ahead of Sushant Singh Rajput’s first death anniversary. The actress held a special prayed at her home and shared the glimpse of the same on Instagram stories.
Though the actress was not visible in the video, she can be seen setting up the holy fire and preparing for the prayers. Ankita shared the video with chants of 'Om' playing in the background.
With the holy fire and puja set-up, the actress seems to have held the havan with her family at home.
Ankita was in a relationship with the late actor for six years before they parted ways. The duo starred together in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’. Last year, following his untimely death, Ankita was seen visiting his family at Sushant's Mumbai home.
Sushant was found dead at his Mumbai’s Bandra home on June 14, 2020. The actor was reportedly found hanging from celling fan in his bedroom.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Ankita after returning to Instagram also shared pictures from her visit to the Marine Drive in Mumbai with her boyfriend Vicky Jain. She shared a couple of solo pictures and a picture with Vicky in the frame. She shared the couple's picture with the caption, "Perfect together!"
Before taking the break from social media, Ankita had celebrated 12 years of Pavitra Rishta in which she played the lead role of Archana. During a live interaction with fans, Ankita was seen getting emotional talking about the show and her co-star, Sushant who played the male lead role on show.
