New Delhi: It was the 40th Anniversary celebration of the IT giant Infosys and the celebrations included performances by none other than the singing sensation Shreya Ghoshal. Her melodious voice always keeps her audience enraptured, and at times even compels them to shake a leg. In fact, Sudha Murthy, the wife of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy also could not resist grooving when Shreya broke into an impromptu song and sang 'Barso Re' from the film 'Guru'.

In a video that is going viral on social media, the author and philanthropist can be seen standing alongside several individuals, including Ghoshal, as many of them begin to hum the song 'Barso Re Megha Megha' from the movie 'Guru' by Mani Ratnam. Murthy, who was overjoyed, began to dance and sing the songs with Ghoshal. As the other people watched the duo, they began applauding and the singer handed her phone to someone so they could record the spontaneous performance.

Netizens loved the video and poured in their comments. One of them said, "Being different is not in everyone's blood. She is different even among the small crowd gathered there. Delightful to watch.", while another one wrote, "Ms Sudha Murthy is so wholesome and cool."

A third user commented, "What did I even see. Look how cute she's dancing to Shreya's singing. Such an inspiration indeed."

Sudha is the philanthropist, writer and wife of Infosys founder and multi-billionaire Narayan Murthy and the mother-in-law of Rishi Sunak, the prime minister of the UK. In 2006, the Indian government presented her with the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honour, in recognition of her social services.
