As per reports, 'Kalki 2898-AD' has been made on a budget of Rs. 600 crores, making it the most expensive Indian film ever made. The film belongs to the sci-fi genre. The cinematography was done by Djordje Stojiljkovic and production design by Nitin Zihani Choudhary. The film's music has been composed by  Santhosh Narayanan.

'Kalki 2898 AD' was earlier titled 'Project K'. The film has been in production for the last few years now. A lot of graphics and CGI is said to be used in this one of a kind sci-fiction film.
