To mark Women’s Day, the makers of Jatadhara released a striking new poster, revealing Sonakshi Sinha in an intense and never-seen-before avatar. Blending action, mythology, and supernatural elements, the film promises to be a gripping cinematic experience.

With Jatadhara, Sonakshi makes her Telugu film debut, stepping into a powerful role distinct from anything she has portrayed before. Following her impactful performance in Heeramandi, she now takes on a character that exudes mystery and strength, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film.

 

This film marks a significant milestone in Sonakshi Sinha's career, as it would be her first major role in Telugu cinema, marking her entry into a highly competitive industry known for its larger-than-life storytelling and high-octane action sequences. 

About Sonakshi Sinha's Telugu debut Jatadhara

The project kicked off with a muhurat ceremony in Hyderabad on February 14, and production has now moved to Mount Abu, where a jungle set has been built at Maukaa Studios to create the film’s mystical setting. With a focus on ancient legends and high-energy action, Jatadhara is shaping up to be a visually ambitious venture.

The film stars Sudheer Babu and is directed by debutant Venkat Kalyan. It is backed by Zee Studios along with producers Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna Arora, Aruna Agarwal, and Shivin Narang. Filming is set to begin on March 10, with Sonakshi diving into a demanding role that requires both intensity and depth.

With its mix of mythological themes, supernatural elements, and stylised action, Jatadhara is expected to offer an intriguing cinematic experience.
