New Delhi: Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was among the several dignitaries invited for the Ram Temple Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22, 2024. The megastar spoke with the press about the consecration ceremony. 


On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present for the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Thousands of VIP visitors from across the nation attended the great occasion. Rajinikanth, the veteran actor, was also there. He spoke with reporters at the airport upon his return to Chennai on Tuesday. He described the gathering as "spiritual" rather than "political."


Rajinikanth disclosed that he was one of the first 150 individuals to see the historic unveiling of the Ram Lalla statue when he and his family returned to Chennai. "I had an amazing darshan," he stated in Tamil. I was one of the first 150 individuals to see the Ram Lalla idol after the Ram temple opened, and it brought me great joy. This is spirituality, not politics, in my opinion. Divergent viewpoints are acceptable and need not always coincide."


When questioned about a video from the event that was making the rounds on social media, Rajinikanth said, "There is nothing like that." Rajinikanth had earlier said, "I am very fortunate, and it was a historic event," to reporters in Ayodhya. Will undoubtedly visit Ayodhya annually.


On Monday, Ram Lalla's Pran Pratishtha took place at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Following the ceremonies, the Ram Lalla idol was unveiled in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Pran Pratishtha event. 


In addition to Rajinikanth, prominent figures from the southern film industries and Bollywood were present in Ayodhya for the Pran Pratishtha Ram Mandir. 


Actor and director Rishab Shetty, who is well-known for Kantara, was also there, along with Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan.
