As is customary of Southern superstars to announce new films on their birthdays, Telugu megastar Prabhas, who is celebrating his special day today, also announced a new film on his birthday. Titled 'The Raja Saab', Prabhas also shared the first look poster of the film on his official social media handle. A romantic horror comedy written and directed by Maruthi, the film will star Prabhas in the titular role alongside Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan in the lead.

In the newly shared poster, Prabhas looks quite intense and in a never-seen-before role. Prabhas sports long hair with shades of grey. He also has a full beard in the poster. Prabhas is seen wearing a black ethnic outfit seated on an intimidating throne looking straight into the camera as he smokes a pipe.
The film is all set to release in theatres on April 10, 2025. Earlier, the makers shared a special advance birthday poster which went viral minutes after it was released. The poster shows Prabhas in a check shirt. Alongwith the poster, Maruthi shared the poster on X, writing, "A journey we built. A Darling Rebel character we shaped. He is arriving on October 23.”
Produced on a large scale by TG Vishwa Prasad and People Media Factory, the film has created considerable excitement among fans. The music is composed by SS Thaman, and the cast features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Jisshu Sengupta, and Brahmanandam.
