New Delhi: Actor Prabhas’ official Facebook page was hacked on Thursday, and the actor updated his fans about this on his Instagram story last night. The account has been restored now. Prabhas confirmed the hack and wrote on Instagram Stories, "Hello everyone, my Facebook page has been compromised. Team is sorting this out."
On Thursday night, two viral videos Late on Thursday, two viral videos, captioned ‘Unlucky Humans’ and ‘Ball fails around the world’, were shared on his Facebook page. Hours later, Prabhas confirmed the hack on Instagram stories. The videos have been deleted now.
On the work front, Prabhas was last seen in Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ along with Kriti Sanon. The big budget film received a lot of criticism over its portrayal of Ramayana and bombed at the box office.
He will next be seen in KGF director Prashanth Neel's Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. The film, also starring Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, will release on September 28.
Apart from this, the actor also has Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 – AD in his kitty. The film, which was formerly called Project K, also star Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani.
The first glimpse of the film was unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con. The grand event marked a significant milestone as Kalki2989AD became the first-ever Indian film to participate in the prestigious international Comic-Con.
The glimpse of 'Kalki 2898 AD' showed a dystopian world, where stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas seem to be warriors in a war-like situation. Dressed in a metallic outfit, Prabhas seems to be the saviour.
A section of social media was not very happy with the first glimpse and compared the film to Hollywood movies such as 'Dune' and taggied it as a "cheap copy". The actor’s look had also received a lot of trolling as he was tagged as 'sasta Iron Man'.
