New Delhi: Telugu superstar Nagarjuna fans, there is some good news for you. The megastar's upcoming film will be released on Sankranthi 2024. He will next be seen in Tamil film 'Naa Saami Ranga' which will be released next year.


The makers announced the film's title, release date and unveiled Nagarjuna's first look poster from the film on the Tamil superstar's 64th birthday.


Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the announcement on his official Twitter handle. "NAGARJUNA FILM TO ARRIVE ON SANKRANTHI 2024… On #Nagarjuna’s birthday today, here comes a new movie announcement… Choreographer #VijayBinni makes his directorial debut with #NaaSaamiRanga, which will be produced by #SrinivasaaChitturi. #MMKeeravaniwill compose music for the film, which is slated for #Sankranti2024 release."


 






The first look poster of Nagarjuna reveals the evergreen Tamil actor smoking a cigarette. Nagarjuna sports a red short, with his signature hair and bloodied face suggesting that his next will be a full-blown actioner.


Popular choreographer Vijay Binni is making his feature directorial debut with the movie penned by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada provided. 


Oscar winning composer MM Keeravani will be scoring the music for the movie.


The film, produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi via his banner Srinivasaa Silver Screen, also stars actor Karuna Kumar.


Makers are yet to reveal the details about the film's plot and other cast members.


Nagarjuna will also be seen alongside Dhanush in filmmaker Sekhar Kammula's multi-starrer pan-India film. The project is produced by Suniel Narang and Pushkar Ram Mohar Rao via Sree Venakateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. 


Nagarjuna was last seen in 'The Ghost' last year and the overly popular 'Brahmastra' in which his role of Nandi Astra was much talked baout. Despite having a lesser role, Nagarjuna's performance was applauded by fans who wanted to see more of his backstory as 'The Artist' in the film.
