New Delhi: Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film ‘Guntur Kaaram’ had a pre-release event in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur. Deeply moved by the immense love from his fans and memories of his late father, the actor openly shared his emotions at the event. 'Guntur Kaaram', directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is scheduled for release on January 12. The film also stars actresses Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary.

The film is a milestone for Mahesh Babu as this marks the 25th year of his acting career. In an emotional speech addressed to his passionate and loyal fans present in the event, he said, “Nothing will match the love I have gotten from you (fans) throughout these years,” and “The love has only increased as the years went by. I am at a loss for words. I always feel like I can do nothing but bow my head and join my hands in respect.”

The fans reciprocated the gesture and joined hands too.

The actor had recently lost his father and shared that he would wait for his call after every film to hear his honest feedback. “I’ll look to my fans for that love instead,” said the actor, “From now on, you are my mother, you are my father, you are my everything,” he added.

The actor also took to Instagram and posted the picture from the event. He wrote, “Thank you, Guntur!♥️Celebrating the film in my hometown surrounded by so much love, is a timeless memory that I will hold close to my heart. Love you all, my superfans and I look forward to seeing you again...very soon!! ♥️♥️♥️
Sankranthi begins now!! 🎉
A special mention to the Guntur police for all their support and assistance throughout the event.”

Subsequently, his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, also took to Instagram on Wednesday to express gratitude to his fans in a heartfelt note and to comment on her husband’s remarkable success in the film industry.

“I’m probably the last person to stand up and speak about how loved MB is amongst his fans-super fans!!... But today, after seeing the reception he and his GK (Guntur Kaaram) team received in our very own hometown, Guntur, I can proudly say that MB, you have grown to become an emotion for you people...,” she wrote under her post.
