Rajinikanth fans were seen cheering for the superstar during his whistle-worthy entry scene in the film 'Jailer', which lead to pausing the movie in a theatre in Mumbai.
A video was captured on X, formerly called Twitter, by a fan who was present at the theatre and displayed a short clip of how the movie was suddenly paused in the hall as everyone suddenly stood up and started cheering out loud and clapping.
Just the stylish entry of the 72-year-old on screen caused the theatre in a big screen in Sion, Mumbai to pause.

'Superstar' Rajinikanth's mass dark comedy movie Jailer has opened for an astounding record start on the day of its release on Thursday. The Tamil movie has occupied 95% of the screens across Tamil Nadu in over 110 screens, reported ETimes.
Though the first show of the movie started only at 9 AM in Chennai, some of the fans of the actor have driven all the way to Bengaluru and other metro cities to catch a glimpse of 'Thalaivar', as they fondly call him, in the first day first show (FDFS) at 6 AM.

'Jailer' also had an enormous advance bookings response. The film collected Rs. 19 crores from advance bookings until Tuesday. The figures were shared by trade analysis site Sacnilk.com. 'Jailer' is a black comedy-action film writted an directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film has been produced by Kalanithi Maran and Sun Pictures. The music of 'Jailer' has been composed by celebrated music composed Anirudh Ravichander, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Vijay Kartik Kannan and R Nirmal.
As per reports, 'Jailer' has been mounted on a budget of Rs. 200 crores. The film's theatrical rights were sold in Tamil Nadu alone for Rs. 123 crores. In other parts, the film was sold for almost Rs. 91 crores.
