‘Devara’ is Jr. NTR's first solo effort in six years. His devoted fans went to the theatres on opening day to be among the first to see the film. The film explores a historical story where the hero Devara fights evil. Significant parts are also played by Kalaiyarasan, Shine Tom Chacko, Shruti Marathe, Chaitra Rai, and Murali Sharma.
