New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Atlee and Vijay Sethupathi were present at the press conference of the success of 'Jawan'. Director Atlee also joined in to share his experience of working with SRK, the film and more.

Atlee Kumar said SRK was very generous as a producer. He shared that when the superstar came on board as a producer, he instantly greenlit a Rs. 300 cr film but they spent even more than that.

Atlee also said that the moment Shah Rukh Khan came on board as an actor, it was established that 'Jawan' will be a blockbuster.

The 'Bigil' filmmaker also shared that SRK and he differed on audiences liking Vikram Rathore or Azad more. While SRK thought people will love the Azad version of his character, Atlee suggested the contrary.

Upon release, fans and audiences have majorly appreciated Vikram Rathore more and Atlee shared that Shah Rukh Khan now agrees that people love Vikram Rathore more.

Directed by Atlee, 'Jawan' is a signature blockbuster with all the masala elements like action, romance, drama and more. The film starred Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone in special appearances.

Atlee, who has previously done box office films said, "I'm not a writer, director, I'm a fan, and fan not to an individual, but to cinema. Whatever attracts me, i feel wow. I don't have a formula to just get the right balance between this, whatever feels right, I make it. I don't know the formula, i can't explain the formula,  how I find this. Whatever I love, what I've learnt in my life , whatever I see, it is not about cinema, for instance, I take things from my wife, mother, sister, and fellow beings, and I just replicate that in form of cinema, that is my secret in writing and making a film. It is working with everyone because it is basic."

At the time of writing, 'Jawan' collected Rs. 700 cr at the box office.

At the 'Jawan' success press conference, Shah Rukh Khan also shared that it took four years to complete 'Jawan' due to COVID-19.
