Pushpa 2 new release date: Amid rumours of Sukumar's much-awaited action flick ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ being postponed, makers have announced a new release date. The lead actor, Allu Arjun, has officially announced that the sequel to the blockbuster film has been delayed. He shared the new release date along with a poster.


Allu Arjun shares Pushpa 2 new release date


Allu Arjun took to his X handle on Monday to share a new poster for ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. The poster featured him in his titular role of Pushpa Raj. The actor was wearing a grey t-shirt and a brown shirt with a matching bandana on his head. He was also holding a sword in his hand. He captioned the post, “#Pushpa2TheRule in cinemas from December 6th, 2024.”

Although ‘Pushpa 2’ was previously slated to clash with Nikkhil Advani's action thriller ‘Vedaa’ and Rohit Shetty's cop drama ‘Singham Again’, last week Puri Jagannadh's sci-fi action film ‘Double iSmart’ and Akshay Kumar's ‘Khel Khel Mein’ were added to the schedule. Later, it was made clear that Jio Studios had rescheduled the release of ‘Singham Again’ for Diwali.






About movie Pushpa: The Rule


‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is a sequel to the 2021 Telugu blockbuster ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. The first part of the film starred Allu Arjun as an anti-hero, Pushpa Raj, and Rashmika Mandanna as his love interest, Srivalli. Actor Fahadh Faasil was introduced at the end of the first part. The first film directed by Sukumar was set against the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling.
