New Delhi: The wax statue of actor Allu Arjun has just been unveiled to him at the Madame Tussauds Museum in Dubai. Although the statue won't be exhibited until later this year, the actor had a chance to see it first. He is the first Telugu actor to have a wax statue displayed at the renowned Madame Tussauds Museum. The actor also made history by being the first Tollywood actor to take home the National Award for Best Actor.

The first few glances of the wax figure were seen in a video posted by the museum's official page. The Telugu actor is seen holding a sample of an eye in a video posted by the official Madame Tussauds Dubai account and comparing it to his real eyes. Allu Arjun enters the museum wearing only black as the video begins. The wax statue first appeared in the video wearing a bright red jacket that resembled the actor's outfit from 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'.

“In a way, it’s a very surreal experience because as a kid when I went to Madame Tussauds, I never imagined that I would see myself as a wax figure at Madame Tussauds,” Allu can be heard saying in the video.

The caption of the video read, “National Award winner; the first Telugu Actor in 69 years to win this award and icon of dance moves, the one and only Allu Arjun is all set to come face to face with his wax twin at Madame Tussauds Dubai later this year. Stay tuned for an event like never before.”

On the work front, Allu Arjun is shooting for his upcoming film 'Pushpa: The Rule'. On the actor's birthday this year, the film's makers unveiled the actor's first look.
