The year 2025 has started strong for the actor, as 'Good Bad Ugly' has delivered his biggest-ever opening, crossing the ₹50 crore mark globally on Day 1.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film registered an estimated ₹28.50 crore net in India on its first day. Meanwhile, the production house Mythri Movie Makers confirmed that the film opened at £100K (₹1+ crore) in the UK alone. Additional reports suggest the film may have earned ₹18–20 crore overseas, taking the Day 1 worldwide total to ₹50–51 crore.
A New Milestone for Ajith Kumar
With this, 'Good Bad Ugly' has become Ajith Kumar’s highest-grossing opener. His previous record was set by 'Valimai', which had a worldwide opening of ₹47 crore. The new release has surpassed that benchmark, setting the stage for a phenomenal run at the box office.
With the extended weekend ahead, industry trackers predict the film may easily cross the ₹120 crore mark globally.
