New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood famous for playing iconic villain roles in movies, has become a messiah for the migrant workers, who were stranded and unable to return back to their hometown due to the Covid-19 lockdown. After acquiring required permission from the Maharashtra and Karnataka governments, Sonu Sood has been arranging multiple bus services for stranded migrant workers.

For the same, the 'Dabangg' actor launched a toll-free number for the people seeking help to easily contact and avail the services. The actor bore all the cost for the arrangements, and made sure that the migrants who reached out to him for help were guaranteed timely services.

At the same time, some people have started to take advantage of the situation by asking for money from the workers by impersonating as Sonu Sood or his manager. Upon realizing the instances, the actor has warned people to be aware of looters and report to police.

Sonu Sood on Friday afternoon, shared screenshots of WhatsApp chat on his Facebook wall and wrote, "Friends, some people will contact you to take advantage of your need. Whatever service we are doing for the workers is absolutely free. If any person asks you for money in my name, then refuse it and immediately report it to us or a nearby police station."
