New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been conferred with the title of the ‘Messiah of migrants’ for his selfless help to them ever since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. He sent the labourers and workers back to their home safely from different parts of the country during the nationwide lockdown. For this selfless service, the ‘Prithviraj’ actor has received several honours not only on a national level but also on an international level.
Sonu Sood has once again been recognised on an international level as he has been bestowed with the Leadership Award 2020-21 by Forbes. The ‘Simmba’ actor has shared a picture of the award that he has received on his social media.
While sharing the picture, he wrote, “Humbled”.
Sonu has expressed his gratitude while sharing this picture with his fans on social media. The actor received this award virtually. As soon as Sood shared this picture on his Twitter, fans started congratulating the actor for this prestigious recognition. Sonu Sood has been arranging buses and aeroplanes for the migrant workers to reach their homes during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Apart from this, Sonu Sood has also been helping sick people financially with their surgeries and treatments.
Speaking on the professional front, Sonu Sood will be next seen starring in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Alludu Adhurs’, ‘Acharya’ and ‘Thamilarasan’. He was last seen in Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Simmba’ where he portrayed the role of the antagonist.
