Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla’s mortal remains were kept at the Cooper Hospital on Thursday night after the post-mortem and according to latest reports, it will be taken to the Brahmakumari Aashram in Juhu and later to the actor’s residence in Oshiwara. There will be a 'Shanti path' at home, and his last rites will be performed at the Oshiwara crematorium later in the day.


While the post-mortem was done on Thursday, the final report and an official statement from the Mumbai Police will be released on Friday following which the actor’s body will be handed to the family members. 


Sidharth Shukla, who featured in several popular television shows like Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak, passed away on September 2 after suffering a massive heart attack. Sidharth was brought dead to the Cooper hospital, according to a senior official.


Following the untimely demise of actor Sidharth Shukla (40), social media was on Thursday flooded with condolence messages shared by the 'Bigg Boss 13' winner's friends and co-stars.


Sidharth did a number of television and reality shows and also acted in the popular 2014 film ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania', starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt as the leads.


Sidharth is survived by his mother and two sisters.


Mumbai-born Shukla shot to fame with 'Balika Vadhu', Color TV's game-changing social messaging show about child marriage, but he established his credentials by winning 'Bigg Boss 13' (2019), usually charming with the women, often serious with the men (especially when dispensing advice to frenemy Asim Riaz) and affable with the host.


Shukla was known for being fit and had even won the reality show, 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7'.
