New Delhi: Actor Shahid Kapoor is all geared-up for the release of his upcoming film 'Jersey'. The cricket drama that stars Shahid and 'Dhamaka' fame actress Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, already has the audience excited to the core. Shahid tweeted the latest poster of the film, giving a glimpse of another aspect of the character that he portrays in the film.
In the poster, Shahid can be seen tying the shoe laces of Ronit Kamra, who plays Shahid's son in the movie. Dressed in white, the little boy seems all set for a cricket match with his cricket kit hanging on his back. Sharing the poster, Shahid who is the father of two kids in real life, wrote,"Being a father this is my favourite poster of Jersey."

Shahid already has the audience on the edge as the makers gave a glimpse of his compelling performance in the trailer of the movie. Based on the life of a former cricketer, the film is a tug of war between the protagonist's love for family, the various complications he faces and his passion for cricket. With the dream of representing team India and to fulfill his son's wish for jersey as a gift, a man in his mid-30s returns to cricket.
