Bollywood suprstar Shah Rukh Khan was spotted outside Mumbai's Arthur Road jail this morning to meet his son Aryan Khan for the first time after he was arrested in the drugs-on-cruise case on October 3. And now a video of the actor leaving jail after meeting his son has surfaced on social media. The video shows an emotional SRK greeting few fans with folded hands as he headed to his car. Watch below:

While the Bollywood supertar avoided talking to media and headed straight to his car, he made sure to greet those who especially came to the jail to support him. SRK was spotted in a grey t-shirt and blue denim and was sporting a black face mask, his hair was tied to a short ponytail.

Shah Rukh had been keeping away from media ever since earlier this month, when Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for his alleged connection to a drugs case.

Shah Rukh Khan's visit to the jail comes on a day when the Maharashtra government has eased jail visit rules amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, no outsider was allowed to meet inmates in jail. The rules now say two family members can meet an inmate. Earlier, SRK and his wife Gauri Khan had spoken on video call with Aryan last week.

In a massive jolt to Aryan Khan, a special NDPS court in Mumbai on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the case related to the raid on a rave party aboard a cruise ship on October 2. Special NDPS Judge V.V. Patil also declined the bail applications of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, the two others accused in the drug case lodged by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan’s lawyers on Wednesday moved the Bombay high court after the special NDPS court denied bail to the star kid. His bail appeal is likely to be heard today by a single bench of Justice NW Sambre.

Aryan Khan, Merchant and Dhamecha, along with five others were detained on October 2, and placed under arrest on October 3 after the NCB raided the luxury ship preparing to sail on a Mumbai-Goa cruise.
