New Delhi: 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo's trailer has become the talk of the town ever since it was released on Sunday. However, besides the appreciation it has been garnering, a new update regarding one of its cast members, Kiara Advani has caught all the headlines. Kiara Advani was asked about her marriage at the trailer launch amidst rumours of her dating Siddharth Malhotra. Instead of dodging the question, Kiara gave a full-frontal answer that had many cheering for her.
When a reporter asked her about settling down and getting married, Karan Johar quickly interrupted and said, "Meri shaadi ke baare mein aapne kuchh nahi poocha, main 50 ka hone ja raha hoon. Aapko kya lagta hai main shaadi ke kabil nahi hoon? Bhaiya, hum bhi shaadi kar sakte hain ( Why did you not ask anything about my marriage? I am about to turn 50. Do you think I can't get married? I too can get married)
The journalist responded by calling Karan 'multi-talented' to which Karan replied, "Shaadi koi talent nahi majboori hoti hai"( Marriage is not about talent, it's a compulsion).
Karan's answer lightened the mood when Kiara answered the addressed question with, "Bina shaadi kiye bhi main well-settled ho sakti hoon right? Main well-settled hoon, main kaam kar rahi hoon, kama Rahi hoon, khush hoon ( Even without marriage, I can be well-settled, right? I am well-settled, working and earning, and I am also happy).
Kiara's answer took the internet by a storm with everyone appreciating her honesty and mindful answer to marriage.
Meanwhile, Kiara Advani starrer 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' recently released across theatres in India and earned Rs 56 crores in the first weekend.
Her upcoming film, 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' stars Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh. The film is being touted as a family entertainer that it's dose of comedy and drama.
Directed by Raj Mehta, 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' is slated to release on 24th June 2022.
