Mumbai: Bollywood faced another tragedy with the death of ace choreographer Saroj Khan who passed away in the early hours of Friday. She was 71 and was earlier admitted to a hospital last month after complaining of breathing issues. In a career spanning over forty years, Saroj Khan choreographed more than 2000 songs. Almost all the top celebrities have been directed by Khan for dance moves. The news of her death has shocked the industry and twitter is flooded with condolences message from the Bollywood film fraternity. From Amitabh Bachchan to Akshay Kumar celebs paid their tribute to the Bollywood veteran on her demise.
Despite her age, she kept alive her immense passion for dance and regularly posted videos of her dancing on her Instagram page @sarojkhanofficial.
While some videos reminiscence in the past there are few from recent rehearsals.
In one of the videos, she shows the dance moves from the song Mohe Rang Do Laal from the film Bajirao Mastani (2015).
Khan revelled in the abandon, exhilaration, and transformation of dance. As she said in one of her posts from Instagram which is a photo montage, ‘Dancing with the feet is one thing but, dancing with the heart is another.’
