Mumbai: In this second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, people from all around the globe are extending their helping hands to help India. The country is going through a worse phase where lots of people are losing their lives. The positive cases of coronavirus are increasing in such a manner that hospitals are running short of beds and other necessary medical equipment.


Many celebrities have come forward to help the people in this hour of the pandemic. Sonu Sood has been at the forefront of helping people ever since the nationwide lockdown was implemented last year due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The ‘Simmba’ actor is helping people in every way possible. He has also set up a charity foundation for the same.

Sara Ali Khan has also done her bit and contributed towards Sonu Sood’s charity foundation for helping the people in the second wave of the pandemic.


Sonu Sood thanked the ‘Kedarnath’ actress and called her ‘a hero’. The ‘Prithviraj’ actor further said that with this gesture, Sara has inspired the youth to come forward in this battle against the virus. Sonu tweeted, “Thank you so much my dear Sara Ali Khan for your contribution to the @soodfoundation! Extremely proud of you & keep on doing the good work. You have inspired the youth of the nation to come forward and help during these difficult times. You are a hero”.



Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan has been consistently amplifying and giving a shout-out to Covid relief requirements and resources on her social media.


Speaking on the professional front, Sara will be next seen starring in ‘Atrangi Re’ alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
