New Delhi: Television serials often come under netizens' radar for showing some highly illogical scenes, in order to amp up the drama. The scenes are then trolled widely on social media for their illogicality and the makers are questioned for showing absolutely anything to the audience.

Recently, a scene from the television serial 'Swaran Ghar' is going big time viral on social media. The scene shows the lead character Swaran's dupatta (played by Sangita Ghosh), getting stuck in a fan. As she struggles to breathe, her old friend and love interest Ajit asks someone to switch off the fan. Failing to switch off the fan in time, he tears off her dupatta by biting it with his teeth.

The seen went on to become a laughing stock for social media users who widely shared the video and very soon, it turned into a meme material, making everyone laugh at the nonsense content of Indian television serials.

Check out the viral video shared by a twitter user here:

Taking to her Instagram handle on Saturday, Sangita Ghosh shared a note with the audience, wherein she talked aout the viral video and wrote, "I take everything with a pinch of salt and did the same with this video. I think when your audience gives you so much love and appreciation, they also have the right to criticise. I told everyone on the set that at laest hum viral ho gaye. We do make mistakes in life and shows. One has to move on eventually."

The actress further continued, "The intention and the execution did not come out the way it was planned. The team has already realised where they went wrong. And as actors, we do not have the last word but I think everyone will be careful next time."

She concluded the post with, "The show is a progressive one and has been lauded for its content. Yes, we faltered but that doesn't mean we are not doing good work. Television has been instrumental in taking up so many sensitive topics. I, myself, have done some amazing work. Thank You."

In her post, Sangita also took a jab at television actress Kamya Punjabi's tweet, who commented on the viral video by writing, "This is precisely why despite having some brilliant actors TV content is looked down upon, compared to Films and web."

Reacting to Kamya's tweet, Sangita fired back at her and wrote, "What a shame, the person who works in this industry himself is saying such a thing. Jo khud TV show karta hai, jo khud issi industry mai hai wo hi iss industry ko kam samajh raha hai film aur OTT se, phir kya hi kahe."

'Swarna Ghar' airs on ColorsTV and streams on VOOT Select.
