New Delhi: The box office performance of Akshay Kumar's Samrat Prithviraj is on a declining trajectory. The crowd is having a hard time connecting with the historical drama. On the seventh day after its release, the movie saw a significant dip in ticket sales at the box office. The first day of business was somewhat sluggish, bringing in 10.70 crore rupees total, but activity surged up throughout the weekend, particularly on Saturday and Sunday.

Samrat Prithviraj has amassed a total of Rs 52.25 crore at the end of Day 6 (June 9). Earlier today, a trade expert named Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#SamratPrithviraj is rejected... The heavy budget on one hand and the poor outcome on the other, has sent shock waves within the industry... Fri 10.70 cr, Sat 12.60 cr, Sun 16.10 cr, Mon 5 cr, Tue 4.25 cr, Wed 3.60 cr, Thu 2.80 cr. Total: ₹ 55.05 cr. #India biz."

The type of prestige that Akshay Kumar has is worthy of big dollars, but unfortunately, this one has turned out to be a letdown at the box office.

Samrat Prithviraj is directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who is known for directing critically praised television shows such as Chanakya and Upanishad Ganga. The film is inspired by the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, an intrepid king who fought against Muhammad of Ghor.

In this movie, the former Miss World, Manushi Chhillar, plays the role of King Prithviraj Chauhan's love, Sanyogita. There are additional appearances in the movie such as Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, and Manav Vij. The movie was released on June 3 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
