West Bengal HS Result 2022: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education declared the West Bengal class 12 results for the year 2022 today. The result is now available on the official website of the council at wbchse.nic.in and also on wbresults.nic.in.
This year, a record 272 students have been placed in the top 10 ranks of WB 12th result 2022. Adhisha Debsarma of Coochbehar has secured 99.6 percent marks and topped WB HS results in 2022. Debsharma is a student of Dinhata Soni Debi Jain High School and secured a total score of 498.
Second in the ranks is Sayandeep Samanta from West Midnapore who scored 99.4 percent. Samanta is a student of Jalchak Natrshwari Netaji Vidhyayatan and secured a total score of 497, just one mark less than the top rank holder.
There are four students who ranked third namely Rohin Sen from Patha Bhavan, Soham Das from Hooghly Collegiate School, Avik Das from Katwa Kashiram Das Institution, and Parichaya Pari from Jalchak Nateshwari Netaji Vidhyayatan while eight earned the fourth rank. 11 students secured the fifth rank with a total score of 494. 32 students ranked sixth with 37 at seventh rank with a total score of 492.
With 491 marks, 55 students secured the eighth rank while 54 students stood at the ninth rank with a total score of 490 at 98 percent. 69 students stand in the tenth rank with 489 marks.
Among the top 10 students, 144 are boys and128 girls. The total pass percentage this year is 88 percent. This year, boys outshined girls in WB HS results with a pass percentage of 90.19 percent while for girls, it is 86.9 percent. Last year, the total pass percentage was 97.6 while in 2020 it was 90.1 percent.
