New Delhi: Music composer Wajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid fame passed away last year due to COVID-19 issues leading to kidney complications. Brother Sajid Khan, who was very close to the late composer keeps on remembering and sharing memories of Wajid Khan in many instances.
Many people have paid tribute to Wajid Khan after his death. Recently, in the Television show Indian Pro Music League, singer Shaan, Mika Singh and others paid a tribute to the late music composer. Sajid Khan, who captains Delhi Jammers in the show, narrated a heart-touching tale of his wife donating his kidney to his late brother Wajid.

Sajid Khan’s wife Lubna donated a kidney to Wajid Khan without letting anyone know about it. Sajid’s mother and his wife Lubna were also present at the show. His mother Razina revealed how Lubna secretly got all the tests and paperwork done to donate her kidney to Wajid when no one including their relatives came forward to help.
Razina said, “We had asked all our relatives but when no one came forward, Lubna secretly got all her tests done and donated her kidney to Wajid. In today’s world, even parents do not donate kidneys to their children, but she did not think twice.”
Sajid then revealed that even after having money, fame and name, he could not arrange a kidney donor as they were unable to find the right match for Wajid’s kidney. He further disclosed how people took money from him for transplant and never showed up.
The ‘Dabbang’ composer then concluded by saying that he is lucky and blessed to have a loving family and he does not need anything more in life.
