South Indian actress Sai Pallavi is receiving flak from Bajrang Dal in Hyderabad. The organization recently filed a complaint with the Sultan Bazar police station in HYderabad over Sai's remarks on Kashmir, India Today reported. In an interview, Sai compared the Kashmiri Pandits' genocide in Kashmir to the lynching of a man suspected of cow smuggling.

According to the same India Today report, the police said that they will look at the interview video before taking legal action against the actress.

Sai, who is currently promoting her upcoming film 'Virata Parvam' gave an interview to a YouTube channel after which the internet was divided over her remarks.

When Sai was asked if she was influenced by any kind of politics during her college days, she reverted by saying that she came from a very politically neutral family.

"I grew up in a neutral environment. I have heard about the left-wing and right-wing. But, I cannot say who is right and who is wrong. The film, The Kashmir Files, shows how Kashmiri Pandits were killed. Recently, there was an incident of a person being killed for carrying a cow because he was suspected to be a Muslim. After killing the person, the attackers raised 'Jai Shri Ram' slogans. What is the difference between what happened in Kashmir and what happened recently?"

Sai's comparison of Vivek Agnihotri's film with lynching a man suspected of cow smuggling received a lot of flak from netizens which were divided over her opinion.
