The immensely popular streaming show 'Scam', which was both created and directed by Hansal Mehta, has made a comeback with a fresh installment titled 'Scam 2003: The Telgi Story.'
'Scam 2003' narrates the intriguing story of Abdul Karim Telgi's notorious stamp paper fraud in the year 2003. This series offers a captivating viewing experience as it tracks the life journey of Telgi, originally born in Khanapur, Karnataka and delves into his remarkable rise to becoming the mastermind behind one of India's most elaborate and cunning swindles, spanning multiple states and sending shockwaves throughout the nation. The estimated value of this scam is believed to be around Rs 20,000 crore.
In a coversation with ABP Live, Saad Bilgrami who played a small role in the show, shared his experience in it and also opened up about his upcoming show 'Panchayat 3'
Talking about 'Scam 2003', Sad said, "The experience was quite nice. I always wanted to work with Hansal Sir. So, when I was selected for this character, I was told that there is not much screen space, but since it would be a great experience to work with Hansal Sir and Tushar Sir, I did it."
"The name of my character is 'Yakood'. I couldn't do much, but no matter what, I enjoyed it. It was based on the people who live in the 'Dongris'. But, the main thing was that I wanted to work with Hansal Sir, which made me say 'yes' to the role," he further added.
Saad also spoke about his upcoming show 'Panchayat 3' saying, "The character which I play in 'Panchayat 3' is a new one about which I cannot speak much at the moment. I am a huge fan of 'Panchayat' and more than me it's my father. He has watched Season 1 almost 8 times. So, it's a big thing for me. I would like to thank TVF that at least I got to work in this show. So, I am really excited. It is a big show andis very beautiful."
"Apart from this there is another project that I have with TVF, which is untitled as of now. TVF has never made anything like that as of now. First time TVF is making a show like this, in a genre that it has not explored till date," he further added.
'Scam 2003: The Telgi Story' was released on September 2 and stars Gagan Dev Riar, Hemang Vyas and others.
