New Delhi: Actress Rashmika Mandanna is riding high on success these days, with back-to-back films in her kitty. The 'Pushpa' fame actress is all set to make her mark opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the upcoming film 'Animal'.

Unanimously known as the ‘National Crush of India’, Rashmika Mandanna won hearts across the country with many hit films down south but with the Pan India mega-blockbuster ‘Pushpa’, she cemented her position as one of the few actresses who boasted of such an extensive mass reach.

Recently, the young star has also been signed for the Ranbir Kapoor crime thriller ‘Animal’ also starring Anil Kapoor, making her one of the few actresses to have 3 Bollywood releases even before her debut film.

The fact that Bollywood filmmakers and production houses are placing their bets on Rashmika Mandanna even before her first Bollywood release, speaks volumes for her popularity and bankability as a star.

Says a trade source, “ Rashmika has already signed 3 big Bollywood films – Animal, Goodbye and Mission Manju and all of these were signed and sealed before her official Hindi debut. It’s very rare to see filmmakers place such confidence in an actor before witnessing the impact they make with their first film, testimony to Rashmika’s ever rising popularity and stardom.” Adding that, “It’s also very rare to see an actor receive such love and support from different regions in the country. Despite working in the south film industry, Rashmika enjoys a crazy fan following even in the north market. It’s no surprise then that she has emerged as one of the most sought after female stars in the country.”

Rashmika Mandanna managed to leave a lasting impact even in a deglam role like Srivalli from Pushpa:The Rise as her song 'Saami Saami' went on to break the internet, trended across all social media platforms and even clocked over ten million views in less than 24 hours of its release.

Post the success of Pushpa, not only did she become an overnight brand sensation but Bollywood also sat up and took notice! The actress is now all set to make her big Hindi debut with ‘Mission Manju’ opposite Siddharth Malhotra, followed by Vikas Bahl’s next ‘Goodbye’ with cinema legend Amitabh Bachchan.
