New Delhi: Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela started a storm of controversy with her statement around ‘not having kids’. Now the ‘RRR’ actor’s wife has expressed her displeasure with the way her remarks were misconstrued out of context.

In response to a media publisher, Upasana claims that her remarks about Ram Charan and them not having kids have been completely misinterpreted.

During a recent conversation with spiritual leader Sadguru, Upasana expressed her reservations about having children.

She shared her philosophy behind the decision to not have kids and her family’s reaction to that. Sadguru also spoke about the same topic.

However, some media outlets have misinterpreted the context of Upasana's comments and reported another story altogether.

It is being projected that Upasana chose not to have children due to population control concerns. One Instagram post shared the same report, adding that Ram Charan is also opposed to having children as it would distract him from his career.

After this news became prominent, Upasana clarified the context of her statements.

She captioned a screenshot of the news on her Instagram account, "Omg, this is not true. Please view the entire video and read my copy."

Ram Charan and Upasana have been married for ten years.

Despite the fact that it was their personal matter, many have  repeatedly questioned the couple about having children especially after Upasana’s conversation with Sadhguru went viral. Upasana has spoken out on multiple occasions about this. She was always clear that she would have children only when they, as a couple, were ready.
